Hey folks!
This is just an introductory blog to discuss how we will be handling the schedule going forward and our plans to expand the store to suit everyone's desires. As of writing this blog our current schedule is as follows:
- Tuesday 6:30pm - Star Wars: Unlimited
- Wednesday 6:30pm - Warhammer 40K: Kill Team
- Thursday 6:30pm - Flesh and Blood TCG: Classic Constructed / Blitz (rotating every other week)
- Friday 6:00pm - Magic The Gathering: Standard Constructed
- Sunday 12:30pm - Magic the Gathering: Commander Open Play
We have a plan to expand our current schedule and bring more time for players and offer more games at the store!
As of writing we have applied and been accepted as a Play! Pokémon Organizer! Store. We are excited to begin offering casual Pokemon weekly League games, as well as offering more competitive tournaments as our player base expands! In addition we will be ordering more pokemon products for the store including newer sets like Pokemon SV8 Surging Sparks (coming soon), Pokemon SV7 Stellar Crown and the upcoming set Pokemon Scarlet and Violet 8.5 Prismatic Evolutions! (coming soon) This includes Booster boxes, blister packs, and Elite Trainer Bundles also know as ETB’s.
Moving forward we are scheduling these brand new weekly tournaments Every Saturday at 12:00pm starting this Saturday November 30 2024! We are very excited to see every trainer there!
In addition to our Pokemon, another game that we are further expanding into is Disney’s Lorcana! With the release of the new Lorcana Gateway product as an entry point to beginners, we thought it would be the perfect time to begin starting weekly tournaments! As we currently carry multiple Disney Locana products including Shimmering Skies and will shortly be getting the brand new Azurite Sea expansion as well, we felt fostering a community for a beautiful new game created by Disney and Ravensburger would be a great experience.
We plan on scheduling these events as well every Saturday at 3:00pm starting this Saturday November 30 2024! Sign up now! We are very excited to see every Illumineer there!
Next we are looking to expand further into one of our most requested games at the store. One Piece! As of the writing of this article, we are currently in the application process of becoming a One Piece certified Play Store! With luck this process will be finished quickly and we will be able to offer more one piece products, as well as host sanctioned tournaments with prizing! Keep an eye out at the store for the upcoming Emperors of the New World OP-09, as well as restocks of older sets such as Two Legends OP-08 and maybe even some original sets like Romance Dawn OP-01! This game is extremely popular and we look forward to learning more about it and fostering a community around all the lovely pirates!
This brings us to our existing catalogue. Star Wars: Unlimited has a strong community at the Negative Zone. The most recent release Twilight of the Republic was a great success, and we thank all players for coming out to the prerelease! We will continue to offer this game on a different day than we had originally scheduled. We will be moving Star Wars Unlimited from Mondays at 6:30PM to Tuesdays at 6:30PM.
Next is Magic: The Gathering! Magic continues to be one of the most popular games in the store, and is home to our quickest growing audience! Starting this Friday November 22nd, we will be hosting Standard Constructed for Friday Night Magic!
Finally, this brings us to one of our favourite games, and a cornerstone for the store. Flesh and Blood TCG.
