Hey Folks!
As I am sure everyone else is, we are excited for the upcoming Magic the Gathering sets Innistrad Remastered and Aeitherdrift!
Innistrad Remastered coming this January 24th 2025 will be available in store and online shortly! This set will be another supplementary set covering multiple different releases over the years, from as early as the original Innistrad block in 2011 with Innistrad, Dark Ascension and Avacyn Restored to the more recent Innistrad sets Innistrad: Midnight Hunt and Crimson Vow in 2021! This reprint set will include chase cards with hefty price tags throughout the years such as Meathook Massacre, Emrakul, the Promised End and Lilliana of the Veil!
Along side this it was announced here that starting with Innistrad Remastered each set will include a new "headliner" card limited to 500 copies. Innistrad Remastered’s Headliner will be Edgar Markov Himself shown in this beautiful serialized card.
Each headliner is announced to be in less than 1% of packs, and noting as there are only 500, it seems like it will be very difficult to pull. We wish everyone luck and hopefully one gets pulled at Negative Zone Comics!
As this is a supplementary set, there will be no standard prerelease kits, but as soon as it is available we will be hosting a draft and/or sealed event this Sunday February 2nd 2025, get your tickets here! We look forward to seeing everyone there! Stay tuned for more announcements
Next that brings us Aetherdrift coming out this February 14th 2025! This set clearly wears its inspiration on its sleeves, notably from the popular anime Redline. While we don’t have too many announcements about this set just yet, we do know it too will be featuring a headliner shown here.
It will be a brand new card type combination a Legendary Artifact Planeswalker, which is also an equipment. We are looking forward to hearing more about the set, and will be scheduling a prerelease. We will have another blog post dedicated to this brand new Magic the Gathering set too.
We wanted to thank everyone for taking the time to read this and we look forward to seeing you at the upcoming Innistrad release!
